When Francis began to pray for Rosie O'Donnell, he also did some research about her life. When Rosie was ten years old, her Mom died of breast cancer. It was a crushing blow. Sadly, her Dad was emotionally remote and distant from her. Rosie has gone through enormous personal pain in her life that perhaps has not been resolved. So, instead of looking at her offense, we should pray for her need. Are we willing to allow God to whisper people's needs over the offenses that may be screaming at us?
